In the glass you get a deep, concentrated red winewith silky tannins and a depth of flavor that develops beautifully over time. It is made from a powerful and elegant blend of Syrah, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, aged first for 14–16 months in new barrels and then 16 months in bottle before release.
The high-altitude Calvente winery is located in the Sierra Nevada mountains, between 700–1100 meters altitude. Here, ancient traditions are combined with modern techniques, creating wines with edge, complexity and class.

Producer Horacio Calvente combines modern techniques with ancient traditions, creating wines that are now found in some of Spain's best restaurants and wine bars. The vineyard is only 23 hectares and works carefully with nature - and you can taste it in the wine.
