Made from local ingredients, the grain is floor-malted before the spirit is double-distilled over an open flame. It first matures for three years in new American oak casks, followed by six months in Oro de Oaxaca mezcal casks, adding further complexity and subtle smoke. The nose offers fresh citrus, sweet tobacco, wild flowers and gentle smoke, while the palate combines burnt caramel, cinnamon, spice and tobacco. The finish is long and balanced, with brown sugar, pepper, salt and restrained smoke. The distinctive bottle artwork was created by tattoo artist Thit Hansgaard.
