Highland Park 15 Year Old Viking Heart is a tribute to the distillery's Nordic roots and dedication to quality. This single malt whisky offers a perfect balance of sweetness and complexity, created through careful aging in European and American oak casks that have previously held sherry. With notes of honey, dried fruit, citrus and a subtle heather smoke, this is a whisky that seduces both the palate and the nose.
"A tribute to Nordic heritage and craftsmanship with an elegant ceramic bottle."

There's also a hint of freshly baked sponge cake, warm from the oven, and you'll find cinnamon again, but toasted slivers this time. Citrus and vanilla notes linger in the aromatic waves of peat smoke.
TASTE
Toasted cinnamon sticks | Mild peat smoke | Warm vanilla sponge cake | Sun-kissed lemon zest | Fresh pineapple | Delicious honey with heather
DESCRIPTION
This is a wonderfully rich and complex single malt. It opens with rich and spicy aromas of creme brulee, heather honey and crumbled cinnamon, followed by intense fruity notes - fresh pineapple with a hint of sun-kissed lemon zest.
To create 15 Year Old Viking Heart, Gordon Motion, Highland Park Master Whisky Maker, chose predominantly sherry-seasoned European oak casks to deliver warm, spicy notes and sherry-seasoned American oak casks to provide a balance of sweet vanilla.
Gordon chose to bottle the whisky at 44% ABV to allow the whisky's lively fruitiness and characteristic hot peat smoke to shine through, and he added only a few refill casks to soften and smooth out the flavour.
Why a ceramic carafe?
Rewind a century or two and Highland Park whisky would have been stored in earthenware containers.
Inspired by examples found at Highland Park distillery in the Orkney Islands, we asked Wade Ceramics if they could collaborate with us to create a modern version.
Founded in 1810 and based in Stoke-on-Trent, England (known globally as the traditional home of pottery), Wade shares Highland Park's commitment to environmental responsibility, focusing on sustainable production and using local raw materials.
The lead-free porcelain decanter is 100% food safe, glazed inside and out and embossed with the lion and snake design also found on many of Highland Park's glass bottles. Look closely at the back of the bottle and you'll find the heart motif that inspired this whisky's name.
They have been producing Highland Park award-winning whiskies at the Highland Park Distillery in Kirkwall, Orkney Islands, since 1798.
Age, experience and respect for tradition may define Highland Park whisky, but it is Orkney that sets it apart. Here, something magical happens, and the result is the wild harmony of nuances found in Highland Park whisky.
