TO MEET TO CELEBRATE
A Night on Earth in Scotland tells the story of Scotland's world-famous Hogmanay celebrations, celebrated every year on December 31, and captures the universal joy of celebrating the turn of the year.
This seasonal release is a collaboration with acclaimed Japanese-French illustrator Erica Dorn , whose artwork has been featured in director Wes Anderson's films.
The single malt variety is presented in unique packaging to provide a special experience when unwrapping it, and Dorn's playful abstract illustrations are inspired by the historical fire rituals that dominate New Year's celebrations around the world.

FESTIVE TASTING EXPERIENCES
A Night on Earth in Scotland is created from a selection of The Macallan's exceptional American and European oak sherry casks as well as American ex-bourbon casks to give it its rich, sweet shortbread-like character.
A whiskey that references the rich Scottish delicacy traditionally given and eaten on Hogmanay, marked by festive notes of dried orange and spice.
AROMA
Vanilla, buttery, baked apple, baked biscuits, plum and almond.
TASTE
Soft velvety sweetness reminiscent of shortbread with a rich mouth coating, vanilla sweetness, with lightly toasted marshmallow, dried oranges, fig and cinnamon.
