CLASSIC CUT - 2020
For the first time in the series, which is designed to offer a different taste experience year after year, The Macallan Whiskey Mastery Team had the freedom to explore The Macallan's different cask types to create the unrivaled single malt.
The Macallan Whiskey Maker, Polly Logan, used her skill and experience to craft the expression using a combination of sherry aged European oak casks and ex-bourbon American oak casks to create a single malt with a unique flavor and character.
AROMA
Vanilla with candied orange peel and honey, sweet sultanas and raisins with fresh oak and thyme.
TASTE
Ginger warmth, sweet orange, vanilla and honey with fresh, live oak.
