The Macallan Genesis Limited Edition marks the creation of the iconic distillery in a unique collaboration with the internationally renowned architects Rogers Stirk Harbor + Partners. The special bottling tells the special story of Senior Partner and Lead Architect, Graham Stirk's vision for the new distillery's aesthetic and reflects each step of The Macallan whiskey making process.
Graham Stirk envisioned the new distillery to be cut into the slope of the landscape, taking cues from ancient Scottish hills and maximizing the building's aesthetic beauty while minimizing the visual impact on the Speyside landscape.
The undulating wooden roof structure deliberately echoes the undulating slopes of the surrounding landscape, while the slightly curved walls celebrate the mastery of everything that happens within.

Genesis Limited Edition whiskey is presented in a beautiful gift box with a signed lithographic print of the distillery by lead architect Graham Stirk, showing an elevation of the revolutionary building to show the intricate work of the design and reveal the mystery behind this architectural work of art.
the print, which encapsulates the concept of the distillery and shows both the overall shape and the precise details of the building to portray the scale and complexity at the same time, was produced on one of only two remaining card printing presses in the UK.
