Highland Park Dragon Legend is not a whisky for the faint of heart. This dram takes you on a smoky journey back to the wild beauty and proud Viking heritage of the Orkney Islands. Here, Highland Park has turned up both the smoke and the complexity of the flavour – and the result is nothing short of spectacular.

Inspired by the Norse warriors who ruled Orkney for over 600 years, Dragon Legend is a celebration of both strength and elegance. It is distilled and matured at the Highland Park distillery, just 11km from the famous Hobbister Moor, where the peat is sourced, giving it a distinct smoky and aromatic character that sets it apart from more classic versions such as Highland Park 12 and 18 years.

Full-bodied and smoky with sherry sweetness

With 43.1% alcohol and aged in European and American sherry casks, Highland Park Dragon Legend has a distinctive body and warmth. The sweet and spicy character from the sherry casks balances nicely with the lightly smoky peat, giving the whisky a round and intense taste.

On the nose, you'll find smoky vanilla, lightly spiced honey and dried fruit. On the palate, the flavour explodes with dark caramel, warm spices and a lingering, smoky finish that lingers long after the last sip. This is a single malt that truly lives up to its name – a true dragon among Scotch whiskies.
