After the excellent first part of the Harmony collection, Single Malt " Rich Cacao ", The Macallan distillery offers a new, very limited edition: The Macallan Harmony Collection Intense Arabica.
A whiskey that celebrates the world of coffee, inspired by the taste of the Arabica coffee bean from Ethiopia, recognized as the birthplace of coffee.
Steven Bremner, Whiskey Maker at The Macallan, immersed himself in the art of coffee by hosting a Masterclass with world-renowned coffee experts at Estate The Macallan.
He wanted to create an intense whiskey reminiscent of the taste of coffee and chose a combination of American and European oak casks to achieve characteristic notes of espresso coffee "particularly sweet but also powerful".
"Inspired by Intense Arabica is a tribute to the world of coffee and the incredible journey of the coffee bean."
