AROMA
Prominent peat smoke followed quickly by ripe red fruits.

TASTE
Sweet at first, followed by peat smoke and hints of ash and seaweed.

FINISH
Long aftertaste with lingering floral notes. Hints of marzipan and lime.

MATURATION
Blend of whiskies aged in Oloroso sherry butts, Pedro Ximenez hogsheads and former Bourbon casks, finished in new American oak casks.

This whisky offers an entry into the world of Laphroaig, with a more accessible and rounded profile compared to the distillery's more intense expressions. Select offers a lightly smoky character, which is characteristic of Laphroaig, but with a softer and more nuanced approach. Notes of peat combine beautifully with a subtle sweetness and a hint of spice, creating a harmonious and inviting taste experience.

Laphroaig Select has matured in a unique combination of Oloroso sherry casks, new American oak casks, Pedro Ximenez sherry casks and the traditional quarter casks. This diversity of casks gives an extra depth and complexity to the whisky, while it remains light and fresh.

The bottle reflects Laphroaig's characteristic style with a modern twist, making it a perfect gift for both new explorers of single malt whisky and dedicated Laphroaig fans. Enjoy Laphroaig Select neat, on the rocks or as a delicate addition to your favourite cocktail.
