Kentucky Owl Batch 9 Straight Bourbon Whiskey

In October 2019, Kentucky Owl released Kentucky Straight Bourbon Batch 9, made from a blend of bourbons with four different mash bills. These include a 15-year-old, two 14-year-olds, a 12-year-old, a 7-year-old and a 6-year-old. The bourbon is bottled at a cask strength of 127.6, the highest released from the brand to date.

Only 10,314 bottles are available in several markets in the USA.

The Wiseman's Bourbon

A blend of different bourbons, aged 15, 14, 12, 7, and 6 years, smells like a bakery with elements of sweet confectionery and warm cherry pie.

On the palate, there are notes of wild strawberry, cooked fruits, baked apples, raspberry tart and tiramisu, as well as a light touch of black pepper that beautifully balances the complex bouquet of leather and oak.

The finish offers a strong spice of chocolate, raspberry, cinnamon, bitter almond and lightly roasted coffee beans, all of which are well-integrated and woven together into a powerful, yet balanced flavour profile.
