This edition is matured primarily in premium sherry seasoned European oak casks, including Pedro Ximénez casks, as well as refill casks, ex-bourbon casks and a small amount of premium American oak casks.
Without added water, the whiskey opens with complex and spicy aromas of cloves, oregano, crushed pine needles and persistent smoke. The palate offers intense notes of sun-dried fruit, licorice, winter spices, cocoa nibs and light oak, finishing with a smoky finish.
