The Macallan Edition No. 1 is the first expression in the Edition series. It celebrates The Macallan's unique oak cask management policy, which oversees the entire process from wood procurement to finished seasoned cask.
The result is a bold single malt crafted from eight of the finest European and American oak casks of various styles and sizes, demonstrating the influence The Macallan's exceptional oak casks have on the whiskey's flavour.

AROMA
Orange, apple and notes of dried fruit with a lively and rich aroma. Vanilla, toffee and chocolate underlie oak overtones.
TASTE
Warming wood spices open followed by nutmeg, cinnamon, hints of dried ginger and caramel. Fruit appears later - fresh and balanced with fresh oak.
