Located on the rugged but beautiful island of Islay in Scotland, Bowmore has mastered the art of creating whisky with character for over 240 years. With this 21-year-old single malt, however, they have raised the bar – and the result is quite spectacular.

Aroma and flavor notes

Aroma:
Sweet, nutty notes dominate the nose from the very first moment. Manuka honey and syrup meet the scent of grilled hazelnuts and lovely praline, rounded off by deeper notes of freshly tanned leather that add warmth and robustness.

Taste:
Full-bodied, well-balanced sherry melds with subtle Islay peat. A dark core of intense bitter chocolate meets notes of vanilla and roasted coffee beans. Fresh fruit like Morello cherry and hints of papaya provide layer upon layer of complexity and a harmonious finish.
