Red Kite Gin – Danish handmade gin with character, edge and quality
Red Kite Gin – Elegant Danish gin with flavor and soul
Red Kite Gin from Volsted Distillery is a brilliant example of how classic gin craftsmanship and Nordic understanding of raw materials can go hand in hand. Distilled in the middle of beautiful North Jutland, this gin represents the very best in Danish spirit craftsmanship.
At first sniff you are greeted by fresh notes of juniper and citrus. This is followed by a layer of warmth and complexity from cardamom, angelica root and a fine sweet depth of licorice. The elegant flavour profile impresses – balanced, dry and nuanced. Volsted Red Kite Gin is created with care, and you can both taste and feel it.
With its 11 botanicals – and no added sugar – it retains its status as a classic London Dry Gin, but with a unique Nordic edge. The high alcohol content of 45% gives the gin the strength to shine in both a gin & tonic and in more complex cocktails.
Perfect for both simple and creative drinks
Red Kite Gin is extremely versatile. It works really well in a classic gin & tonic served with a dry tonic and a twist of orange peel, but it also performs really well in a gin sour or a negroni, where the balance and dry finish really come into its own.
