The Macallan Triple Cask Matured 12 years old is created from a trinity of spirits, matured individually in European sherry-seasoned oak casks, American sherry-seasoned oak casks and American ex-bourbon oak casks.
Once filled, the maturing spirit remains undisturbed in the same casks for 12 years - after which this complex combination of casks is beautifully and expertly married together to create this vibrant single malt.
Triple Cask Matured 12 Years Old was previously known as Fine Oak 12 Years Old and offers the same extraordinarily smooth, delicate, yet complex character with a new name, a new bottle and bold new packaging.
AROMA
Complex, with notes of vanilla, melon and lemon zest.
TASTE
Medium balanced with lemon citrus, vanilla and lightly toasted oak and nutmeg.
