Stauning Dirty Bastard is a limited and powerful whisky from Stauning’s experimental Research Series. Its mash bill consists of 51% floor-malted rye and 49% floor-malted barley sourced from local farms, followed by an unconventional three-stage cask journey. The whisky begins in new American oak before further maturation in mezcal and tequila casks, with stout casks from Danish breweries To Øl and Fanø Bryghus completing the process. The nose delivers cinnamon, cocoa, grain and tobacco, while the palate unfolds with dark chocolate, vanilla, roasted nuts, chilli, dark beer, hops and toasted malt. Bottled at a commanding 53.4% ABV and limited to only 6,530 bottles, it is a bold collector-oriented release. This bundle includes 2 bottles.
