Stauning El Clásico

Stauning El Clásico is an experimental Danish rye whisky from the Stauning Research Series, combining traditional West Jutland craftsmanship with inspiration from Spanish vermouth. The whisky first matures for three years in new American oak casks before spending a further year in Spanish vermouth casks. This distinctive maturation creates a complex and expressive profile with ripe plums, apple, orange, burnt sugar, cinnamon and raisins on the nose. The palate brings together dried fruit, citrus, warming spices and crushed pepper, while the long finish reveals the characteristic bittersweet herbal notes of vermouth. Bottled at 45.7% ABV, El Clásico balances intensity with finesse. This bundle includes 2 x 70 cl bottles, making it ideal for sharing, collecting or keeping the home bar well stocked.
