In this version, we get to experience an exciting fusion where the traditional Cobbler meets Danish craftsmanship in the form of Stauning Smoke. The result is a cocktail with a perfect balance between sweetness, bitterness and the characteristic smoke of the award-winning Danish whiskey.
Stauning Single Malt Cobbler
This cocktail is ideal for warm summer evenings on the patio. It combines the best of two worlds: the refreshing citrus that characterizes a good summer drink, and the complex, smoky character of Stauning Smoke, which adds depth and character.
Recipe:
- 5 cl Stauning Smoke
- 2 cl fresh lemon juice
- 2 cl Grand Marnier liqueur
- 1 dash Angostura Bitters
- Possibly Ginger Ale
How to do it:
- Mix whiskey, lemon juice, Grand Marnier liqueur and Angostura Bitter in a shaker.
- Add ice and shake the shaker well.
- Strain the contents into a highball glass filled with crushed ice.
- Top with Ginger Ale if desired and stir gently.
- Garnish with a lemon wedge and a sprig of fresh mint.
- Serve with a straw.
