Handmade from grain to bottle

This rye whiskey is the result of true West Jutland dedication. Made from 100% local ingredients, floor malted and double-distilled over an open fire, which gives the whiskey a rustic and authentic character. After 3 years of aging in Virgin American White Oak, Bastard gets its signature finish: 6 months in authentic mezcal barrels from Oro de Oaxaca.

It not only adds an exotic edge, but brings warmth, light smoke and complexity rarely seen in Danish whisky.

Flavor notes that paint with broad brushstrokes

• Aroma: Bright and aromatic with citrus, sweet tobacco, mild smoke and a hint of wildflowers.
