Made at the Glenfarclas Distillery and aged in oloroso sherry casks for a quarter of a century before being bottled to celebrate The Whiskey Exchange's 20th anniversary.
An elegant Glenfarclas. The sherry character of the regular 25-year-old is reduced to reveal orchard fruit as well as a layer of rich dried grape fruit and skin. Espresso notes run through the middle keeping things from being too sweet and reminding us that this comes from an oloroso cask.
This bottle features a bespoke label, designed by our Creative Director Raj Chavda to celebrate London's vibrant hotel and restaurant industry.
AROMA
Meadow flowers, baked apples, barley sugar and buttery brioche fill the nose and develop into earthy coffee and sweet raisins.
TASTE
Notes of fruit cake, salted caramel and rich oak and develops buttery pastries, raisins and fruity espresso flavors and dry waxy aftertaste.
