When The Macallan's rich, fruity and full-bodied "new make" spirit is matured in Oloroso sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain, it is transformed into an iconic single malt.
Once filled, the maturing spirit remains undisturbed in the same casks for 18 years and is brought together in this rich and complex single malt, characterised by mature oak, ginger and raisin aromas.
AROMA
Dried fruit and ginger with hints of vanilla and cinnamon.
TASTE
Smooth and rich with notes of spice, clove, orange and toasted, mature oak.
