The second edition in the limited annual series, The Macallan Classic Cut - 2018 Edition, has an ABV of 51.2%, which Whisky Maker Ian Morrison has chosen as the optimal strength to reveal a dominant sweetness and the well-balanced flavor nuances provided by the extraordinary Sherry Oak Casks.
After letting it breathe for 10-15 minutes, enhanced aromas of citrus, sweet vanilla and spices come to the fore, combined with a satisfyingly long dry oak finish.
