A selection of the white wines we drink ourselves

This tasting package is put together for those who want to experience the breadth of modern white wine – from rich, oak-influenced Chardonnay styles to crisp and mineral Riesling from the Mosel. The combination provides a balanced tasting experience, offering creamy texture, warm notes, and fresh acidity all in one package. It's an ideal opportunity to explore the contrasts between New World and Old World, where Californian generosity meets German precision. Perfect for cozy dinners and more in-depth tastings, allowing you to compare style, structure, and the expression of the grapes. A versatile package that appeals broadly – but always with quality in focus.

Harken 2024 Chardonnay

Harken 2024 is the epitome of the classic, oak-aged Chardonnay style from California. Here, you get a wine built on richness, texture, and warm nuances, where barrel fermentation and malolactic conversion play a central role. The result is a full-bodied and creamy wine with a round mouthfeel and a distinct, yet well-integrated oak profile. The aroma reveals layers of ripe fruits like pear and pineapple, combined with notes of vanilla, butter, and lightly toasted elements. Despite its richness, the wine maintains a pleasant freshness that keeps the balance intact. It is a wine that especially appeals to those seeking depth and a more luxurious, soft style in the glass.

Buttercup Chardonnay 2024

Buttercup 2024 delivers an inviting and soft interpretation of Chardonnay, with a focus on drinkability and balance. The style is round and accessible with a pleasant fullness, making it suitable for both new and experienced wine drinkers. The flavor profile offers tropical fruit notes, subtly sweet nuances, and a hint of vanilla, rounded off by discreet oak tones. It appears harmonious and well-rounded with a soft texture and a persistent, pleasant finish. Compared to heavier Chardonnay expressions, this one is slightly fresher in its character, making it versatile both as a casual wine and for food. A sure crowd-pleaser that delivers classic style without being overwhelming.

Trittenheimer Apotheke Laurentiusberg Trocken GG 2024

This Riesling from the Mosel represents an entirely different style, focusing on precision, minerality, and freshness. The wine comes from a renowned single vineyard, where slate-rich soil and steep slopes create optimal conditions for the grape's expression. The result is a dry and elegant wine with a pronounced acidity and a distinct mineral character. On the nose, you are met with citrus, green apples, and floral notes, while the palate offers a taut structure and a clean, persistent finish. The high acidity gives the wine energy and makes it particularly suitable for food. A wine for those who appreciate finesse and complexity over richness.
