Ron Dos Mares Vintage 1998 is an exclusive vintage rum from Hacienda San Isidro in Panama, distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2024 after 26 years of tropical maturation. Extended ageing in American ex-bourbon casks has produced a concentrated and complex profile with impressive depth. The aroma reveals caramelised oak, vanilla, dried tropical fruit, cinnamon and nutmeg. On the palate, dark caramel, ripe banana, roasted almonds and soft wood notes unfold in balanced layers. The finish is long and structured, combining warming spice with a silky cask-derived sweetness. Only 1,846 hand-numbered bottles were released, each accompanied by an age certificate. The rum is non-chill filtered and retains its natural mahogany colour.

Ron Dos Mares Medusa de Cristal XO Panama Rum (FREE)

Ron Dos Mares Medusa de Cristal XO is a refined Panamanian rum matured for at least 10 years in a tropical climate before being finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. This final maturation adds richness and sweetness, together with distinctive notes of dark fruit and dessert wine. The aroma offers vanilla, dark chocolate, roasted nuts and dried fruit, while the palate develops flavours of dates, plums and sun-dried raisins. Its texture is creamy and rounded, leading to a warm, harmonious finish with an elegant sherry influence. The rum is unfiltered and presented in its natural mahogany colour without added colouring. It is a balanced XO expression suited to contemplative sipping, collecting or pairing with a piece of dark chocolate.
