We asked Domaine Boussard to create this specific cuvée for us because we wanted to share a special Burgundy experience with our customers. A red wine that doesn’t need grand gestures to impress, but rather wins you over with its elegance, fine balance, and irresistible charm.

Pinot Noir at its very best

Pinot Noir is one of Burgundy’s great stars, and you’ll understand why once you taste this wine. In the glass, you are met with a beautiful, bright ruby-red color, while the nose opens up with inviting aromas of red and dark berries.

It is a wine where finesse is more important than muscle. The soft tannins provide structure without dominating, while a freshness in the taste ensures the overall experience feels vibrant and harmonious. The result is a silky-smooth and elegant red wine that is incredibly pleasant to drink—and one that may easily tempt you to pour another glass.

Our personal favorite in Burgundy

In the spring of 2026, Whiskystack founder Kristoffer Glerup visited a long line of small wineries in Burgundy and tasted his way through more than 100 wines. One visit made a particular impression: Domaine Boussard, a family-run winery for generations with roots near Chablis.

Here, it is not about grand gestures, but about craftsmanship, experience, and a sincere passion for wine. Olivier Boussard runs the winery together with his family, building on a tradition where respect for the land and love for the wine are central.

The perfect companion for good meals

Sélection Bourgogne Pinot Noir is created to be enjoyed. Serve it at 16–18 °C and let it accompany everything from succulent poultry and veal to light meat, lamb, or a well-chosen cheese. It can also be an exciting match for certain grilled fish dishes.

⭐ Our recommendation: Find a good occasion, but don't necessarily wait for one. Sometimes a really good bottle of wine is occasion enough.
