Celebrate 20 years of Danish whisky magic with the 20th anniversary edition from Stauning, an exclusive limited edition. In 2005, nine friends started Denmark's first whisky distillery in Stauning, and now we celebrate the beginning with a Peat Smoked Single Malt.
This unique whisky combines 50% unpeated and 50% peat-smoked malt, matured for at least 10 years, which gives a full-bodied and complex taste.
Only 2,005 bottles have been made – a sought-after collector's item and a true tribute to our origins and passion for Danish whisky.

Aroma
The aromatic notes open with warm, sweetish smoke, reminiscent of bonfire smoke in a sun-drenched dune. This is followed by dark honey, dried fruits and a hint of leather and pine needle, which combine into a complex aromatic blanket you can't let go of.
Taste
The first impression on the palate is intense and creamy with a distinct amber sweetness, balanced by the deep, mineral peat smoke. Then, notes of dark chocolate, roasted nuts and a hint of salted caramel are revealed. The taste moves from the robust to the elegant with an unusual balance and depth, created by maturation in first-fill bourbon and rum casks.
The finish is long, warm and captivating. It leaves warm notes of black tea, smoke and dried herbs that dance on the tongue and linger like a dense summer evening on the west coast.
