This is the first global release in a ground-breaking series in collaboration with the Roca brothers that aims to uncover the essence of London, one of the world's greatest cities.
The Macallan and Roca brothers, who own El Celler de Can Roca in Spain, twice voted the world's best restaurant, explore different cultures and find inspiration for their own worlds of whiskey making and gastronomy, united by an insatiable curiosity, the quest for knowledge and a dedication to championship.
AROMA
Nutmeg, sweet Earl Gray tea, orange caramel, lemongrass, coffee lime, soy sauce and polished oak.
TASTE
Wood and curry spices, Earl Gray tea, sweetness from syrup, anise. Lightly salted with a complex umami sensation.
DESIGN
The packaging reflects the exploration of London and the essence captured within it. The outer packaging features a life-size map of the city with the iconic Macallan triangle.
Inside the box, the whiskey bottle represents the essence of London and is surrounded by a unique three-dimensional curved map of London.
The red color represents the iconic bricks of historic London houses. Inside there is a photo book documenting the journey in a drawer in the box.
